Egypt began setting up a buffer zone along its border with the Gaza Strip on Wednesday following a wave of deadly attacks.
The move, which will see about 800 homes demolished, comes in the wake of a suicide bombing in the Sinai Peninsula Friday that killed at least 30 soldiers.
800 homes demolished in the next few days? Israel has never demolished so many in so little time.
Yet over the years there have been numerous NGOs and reports about Israel’s home demolitions – and no one cares about Egypt’s. There are no groups popping up where young idealistic moronic college students volunteer to act as human shields to protect these homes.
Indeed, no one cares about Egypt’s demolishing homes for security purposes.
Egypt is offering compensation, not that owners have much choice:
North Sinai Governor Abdel Fattah Harhour said that 802 houses on the border were evacuated, adding that 65 percent of the residents agreed to leave in return for material compensation and 29 percent in return for alternative land plots in the Medicinal Plants area in Rafah, while the rest will be given social housing units.
“Each family will be given LE300 to rent other places for a temporary period of three months,” he said, adding that they would also be compensated with LE1,200 per square meter for concrete buildings, LE700 per square meter for buildings bearing walls and LE100 per square meter of the land on which those buildings were erected.
“But 78 buildings will not be compensated because they have tunnels concealed underneath them,” he said.

Egypt closed the Rafah crossing to Gaza on Saturday morning, It is reported that the closure will last “indefinitely.” Egypt was also reported to be creating a huge buffer zone – between 1.5 and 3 kilometers – from the border with Gaza in order to stop any smuggling of weapons to and from Gaza. President Sisi said in a speech that “new procedures will be initiated on the border with the Gaza Stripin the face of terrorism.” Now, this means that Egypt will once again be enforcing a blockade on Gaza. People will not be able to leave Gaza for medical, educational or professional reasons. This is what would be characterized as “collective punishment” if done by Israel. Egypt, by any yardstick, is treating Palestinians in Gaza worse than Israel is. Israel has not closed the Erez crossings and hundred of truckloads of materials go to Gaza every weekday from Israel.
But how does Mahmoud Abbas respond to Egypt’s latest moves to enforce a crippling siege on Gaza?

En palæstinensisk araber har fået nok af Hamas og Qatar !
Og fortæller hvorfor !
Videoen er fra 20 august, altså under den “sidste” krig mellem Israel og Hamas.
Interessant nok fortæller han at der er en aftale mellem de palæstinensiske arabere og Israel om at de palæstinensiske arabere får 80% af “Palæstina” , nemlig det nuværende Jordan, hvor der er en MAJORITET af palæstinensiske arabere.
(og Israel får resten, altså hele Judæa-Samaria (=Vestbredden) og Gaza !).
De palæstinensiske arabere HARmao. allerede en stat, der er 4-5 gange så stor som det nuværende Israel.
Og alligevel snakker “alle” om en tostatsløsning, hvor man kun kigger på Israel, Gaza og Judæa-Samaria .
“Alle” burde i det mindste snakke om TRE-statsløsningen : 2 stater til araberne og en til Israel …

Proporsjonalitet i krigen mot ISIS
Skal norske soldater føre en proporsjonal krig?
Ved siste konflikt mellom Israel og terrororganisasjonene i Gaza (2014) var det mange i Norge som mente at israelske respons på terroristenes angrep må være “proporsjonal”. Dvs. at IDF (Israels forsvar) skal bruke omtrent samme ildkraft og metoder i sine angrep på Hamas som Hamas bruker i sine angrep mot Israel.
Dette er selvfølgelig det dummeste noen kan gjøre i en krig. En krig kjemper man for å vinne, og ikke for å oppnå “uavgjort“. Det latterlige konseptet i proporsjonal krigføring kommer naturligvis fra de som ikke ønsker at Israel skal vinne. Norske media og mange politikere og “eksperter” promoterer dette konseptet til tross for at de vet godt at Norge selv ikke følger slike regler i sine egne krigføringer (Kosovo, Libya, Afghanistan osv.).

2512 palestinians killed in Syria

The Action Group for Palestinians in Syria say that the number of Palestinians killed in Syria so far is 2512.
A mortar shell today on a major street in Yarmouk stopped the distribution by UNRWA of food for the besieged group. It is unclear who fired the shell, the Palestinian PFLP-GC group is fighting on the same side as the Syrian regime in the area of the camp. Another pro-Syrian Army Palestinian group fighting in the cap is called the Al Quds Brigades.
The media seems strangely uninterested in the plight of Palestinians in Syria.
The group also quoted a source as saying that 4,223 Palestinians had managed to be smuggled to Italy in recent months, mostly from Syria and Egypt but also some from Gaza.

Report: At Least 2 Dead in Explosion at Iranian Nuclear Plant
Iranian sites claim large explosion heard ‘several kilometers away’, shattered windows as far as 15 kilometers from blast.
An explosion at Iran’s Parchin nuclear plant has killed at least two people, according to Iranian media reports.
The plant is located close to the Iranian capital Tehran, and the explosion has triggering speculation over a possible sabotage or assassination.

Cairo (AFP) – An Egyptian jihadist group released a video Sunday showing the execution of four men, including three being beheaded, accused of spying for the army and for Israel’s Mossad intelligence service.
A similar video of beheadings was released by the group on August 28, showing the decapitation of four men also accused of being “Israeli informants”.
Ansar Beit al-Maqdis says it supports the Islamic State (IS) group which has seized swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria, but has not pledged formal allegiance to it.
Sunday’s video, released on Twitter, features parts of a September speech by IS spokesman Abu Mohamed al-Adnani directed at Sinai jihadists, urging them to kill Egyptian security personnel.
The footage then shows the execution of four men after their recorded “confessions”.
One was shot dead after saying he worked with the Egyptian army, while the other three were beheaded after saying they worked for Mossad.
Before being killed, the men called on other “spies” to repent publicly, saying the militants knew who they were and that they would not be spared.
The footage also shows jihadists manning checkpoints and searching for “spies”.
Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula bordering Israel has seen fighting between militants and security forces after the army ousted Islamist president Mohamed Morsi in July last year.
Militants have killed scores of security personnel, saying the attacks are in retaliation for a brutal government crackdown since Morsi ‘s ouster.
The authorities have launched a sweeping crackdown on his supporters which has left at least 1,400 people dead and more than 15,000 jailed.

På søndag d. 05.10.2014 kl. 18.30-19.30 afholder Frit Iran med meget kort varsel en demonstration på Rådhuspladsen i København.
Det gør vi for at sætte fokus på Reyhaneh Jabbari og to politiske fanger; en kritisk teolog Hossein Boroujerdi og en blasfemisk-blogger Sohrab Arab, som alle er i akut fare for at blive henrettet.
Reyhaneh Jabarri der er dømt for mord, er umiddelbart den der er i størst akut fare for at blive henrettet. Reyhanehs mor har fået 10 dage til at få en benådning fra den dræbtes familie.
Verden over vil man bruge søndag d. 5. oktober til at gøre opmærksom på den uretfærdighed som Reyhaneh har mødt i retssystemet i Iran. Reyhaneh blev for syv år siden dømt til døden for mord, men Reyhaneh handlede i selvforsvar da en mand forsøgte at voldtage hende, hvilket også kan være grunden til at man endnu ikke har henrettet hende.
Vi siger generelt fra overfor henrettelse som straf, hvilket vi finder middelalderligt, men i den sammenhæng er det også vigtigt at nævne at Iran er det land i verden som procentuelt henretter flest antal mennesker. Iran er kun overgået af Kina i faktiske tal. Nogle af de henrettede er kriminelle og andre politiske fanger.
Kom og vær med til at sætte fokus på henrettelserne i Iran, og måske kan vi sammen annullere disse tre henrettelser, at sige fra virker, og det er sket før at regimet i Iran har givet efter for folkelige og globale protester!
Vi vil på Rådhuspladsen lave en opstilling af henrettelse ved hængning, samt medbringe billeder af de der er i fare for henrettelse i Iran.
